A – ARRANGE your scene. Remove all tools and debris.
B – BACK LIGHT, shoot when the sun is out and behind you.
C – CREATE customers view by staying in one place, shooting several shots.
- Shoot the product in at least 3 different positions (open, closed, and in between)
- Use a tripod (if you don’t have one, try and stay in the same position.)
- If you’re shooting a video, try your best to not to move.
- It’s also nice to take photos from the customer’s point of view, especially when photographing screens – showcase that the view is preserved!.
If you’re submitting photos for our Project of the Month Contest, remember the photos must be high quality! A recent smartphone model (2014 or later) should take a photo of high enough resolution. Make sure to move any install equipment (toolboxes, ladders, etc.) out of the way.
