The Curtain Please – revitalization of
downtown Tacoma
On occasion we get asked to do something a little different. That’s the fun part here at Rainier. The recent revitalization of downtown Tacoma, Washington, has brought new life to some previously run down neighborhoods.
Hanna Heights, a condominium project for Prium Homes, agreed with the City of Tacoma to add a little art and flavor to the façade of their new building. The building sits right in the middle of Tacoma’s historic theater district, so the designers wanted to stick to a theme that fits the neighborhood. What the architect and design team arrived at was “The Curtain.”
Using aluminum frame construction and Ferrari Copper Mesh material, this unique showpiece was born. The project has already won a 1st Place award at the Western Canvas Products Associations' Trade Expo. |
