Rainier Welcomes New Team Members
Anthony Foster joined the Rainier team as our Frame Shop manager in November, and is now also managing Rainier’s Woodshop. Anthony has a strong background in Lean Manufacturing, and brings with him over 22 years of experience in production manufacturing and distribution, having worked before as a front line supervisor and operations supervisor. Anthony worked for BPI (HON) in Kent for 19 years as a Production Manager and Lean Coordinator, then moved on to Globe Machinery in Tacoma for 4 years as a Production Control Manager.
Anthony lives in Renton with his family, including Emily, a chocolate lab, and Rosie, a mini schnauzer. After he left Globe Machinery, he was lucky enough to spend an entire summer with his daughter enjoying his favorite activities: golfing, fishing, and boating.
We’re glad to have Anthony join our already elite team. The passion that Anthony has for his work is something he brings to the office everyday, to gain new knowledge from his new team members and also share the knowledge he has with them.
Joe Rowinski is the latest addition to the Rainier sales team, specializing in yurts. He lives in Salem, Oregon, on the weekends with his wife, Mary, and with his loving brother Kort during the work week. He says Kort is the best wife he has ever had.
Joe has done just about everything once, from climbing Mt. Rainier six times, to racing sail boats, to biking from Seattle to Portland, to the “Most Dangerous Job,” crab fishing in the Bering Sea. His current hobbies include biking, fishing, gardening, and most any outdoor activity.
His prior work experience includes crab fisherman, plumber, plumbing contractor, National Account Manager for Moen Faucet Company, part owner of Five Star Marking rep agency, and owner of NW Select Products rep agency.
Joe is delighted to be a part of a progressive, multi-faceted, and family oriented company.
