Envious neighbors weren't necessarily one of the products we set out to create, it just kinda happened...

The awnings of yesteryear have never been considered fashionable accessories for your home, and our design and manu-craftering saw this as a challenge.
“How do we make something that looks cool – and keeps you cool at the same time?”
That became the question that haunted the team – they couldn’t make it go away.
Then it hit them… Make it DISAPPEAR and blend into the house – like a fine architectural detail or accent. Magic!
So they became the Magicians of Minimalism and focused on making a sleek, retractable awning system for the 21st century.
To do this, it became obvious that we needed to design and manufacture the complete awning system – rather than buy and assemble components (like the vast majority of our competitors do).
Although this decision unleashed the more challenging aspects of their personalities – control freakishness and perfectionism – it gave them the freedom needed to create a great system.
Our Retractable Awning System gives you maximum shade with a minimum footprint.

Our retractable deck and patio awnings can be installed almost anywhere. We offer three options – wall mount, under soffit or above the gutter installation.
While the other guys may only provide a limited range of sizes – our awnings are custom sized to meet your exact specifications. Available up to 40′ widths (in 1/4″ increments) with #’ to #’ projection range.

Automatic Control

The retractable awning comes standard with Somfy’s Eolis 3D wind sensor allowing you to control Mother Nature.
The Eolis 3D wind sensor that will automatically retract your awning when the wind exceeds the pre-set threshold.
The sensor is battery-operated and is installed right on the front bar of the awning.

We offer a variety of motor and control options allowing you automatic operation of your awning and feature motors & controls manufactured by Somfy, the world leader in tubular motors.
Time tested dependability makes Radio Technology Somfy (RTS) the smart choice for a Rainier awning.
We’ve found that customers with automated awnings have the highest satisfaction levels with their awnings.
Sun Sensor
Use this wireless sun sensor that is powered with an integrated solar cell to automatically extend a motorized awning based on the sun’s intensity. Its wireless and compact design makes it an easy addition to any awning and can create a comfortable outdoor space you can enjoy any time.
Home Automation 
Motorized awnings powered by Somfy seamlessly integrate with home automation systems so that you can lighting systems, heating, air conditioning, and security systems with one device.
You can even use your smartphone, tablet or computer to control your motorized awning with Somfy’s TaHomA – a Total Home Automation system that also offers users the control of lights and even thermostats along with your awning.
TaHomA enables users to control, schedule and monitor a variety of products and efficiently optimizes the interaction of natural and artificial lighting, heating and cooling according to users’ personal preferences, which saves time, energy and money.
Colors
Our window awnings are available in 4 standard frame colors – Black, White, Tan and Bronze.
Custom colors are available to allow you to match your specific color scheme.
Every awning is built to order and powder coated to for a beautiful appliance-like finish that requires little maintenance.
Drop Valance
An optional drop valance provides additional protection from the sun. Our drop valance rolls up into the front bar of the awning and can be controlled manually with a hand-crank or with automatically with motorized operation.
Protective Hood
One-piece, powder-coated aluminum hood provides a finished look when retracted.
The awning will also be protected from the elements. Available in a variety of colors.
