Our design and manu-craftering team hit it out of the park when they produced the SRS screen system. It is simply the best screen system on the market…

But the reality is this – there are situations where it just doesn’t work, architecturally speaking – like a big glass window wall for example.

Situations like these call for a minimalist approach to the side tracking system – and you can’t get much more minimal, from a visual point of view, than a thin stainless steel cable.

Hence our other unbelievably create product name – the Cable Screen System

Made with the same parts and quality as the SRS, the primary difference is that cables are used along the sides instead of a side retention track system (but you probaly have already guessed that!)

The cable guide system is perfect for windows where you don’t want to (or can’t disturb) the style and architecture of your home.

Whether you are a minimalist, or looks really do matter, this screen system is also best used in conditions where only light winds are the norm.

The cable screen comes standard with a motor eliminating you having to manually raise or lower the screen.  We feature motors and controls manufactured by Somfy, the world leader in tubular motors.  We offer a variety of control options and can interface with existing home automation systems. We have found that homeowners who have purchased a motorized screen system use their screens more and are less susceptible to being damaged because of either being left down in bad weather or due to rolling up the screen in the wrong direction.  It’s much cooler to simply press a button.

Colors

The cable screen is available in 10 standard colors; custom colors are available to allow you to match your specific color scheme.  Every screen is built to order with powder coating done in-house, resulting in a beautiful appliance-like finish and requiring little maintenance.

 

 

Motorization

We feature motors and controls manufactured by Somfy, the world leader in tubular motors.  Time tested dependability makes Radio Technology Somfy (RTS) the smart choice for exterior screens.  We’ve found that customers with automated screens have the highest satisfaction levels with their screens.

Solar Powered Motor

The solar (photovoltaic) panel mounted on the screens housing and converts the sun’s light into electrical energy.  The harnessed electrical energy is stored within a special Nickel Metal Hydride (Ni-MH) battery (included) which powers your motorized screen, resulting in a maintenance-free, environmentally friendly alternative.

Sun Sensor

This wireless sun sensor is powered with an integrated solar
cell to automatically lower a screen based on the sun’s intensity.
Its wireless and compact design makes it an easy addition to any
screen and can create a comfortable space you can enjoy any time.

Home Automation

Motorized screens powered by Somfy seamlessly integrate with home automation systems so that you can lighting systems, HVAC, AV, and security systems with one device.

You can even use your smartphone, tablet or computer to control your motorized screen with Somfy’s TaHomA – a Total Home Automation system that also offers users the control of lights and even thermostats along with your screen. TaHomA enables users to control, schedule and monitor a variety of products and efficiently optimizes the interaction of natural and artificial lighting, heating and cooling according to users’ personal preferences, which saves time, energy and money.
