Probably not, but were kinda stuck with this one...

Exterior screens became a passion of our design and manu-craftering team when they realized how much cooler they could make them (and you) – hence the Side Retention Screen was born.

And like any good group of nerds, they decided to get creative – and called it the SRS.

The SRS screen sold really well, because it is the BEST screen system on the market. (This taught the marketing department a lesson – build the best and the name really doesn’t matter.)

Now its a recognized brand in the industry… so we’re stuck with it.

The SRS is also a great product to tell the story about the construction of a screen – and if there’s one thing we’ve learned, everyone loves a great story.

We think the best part is how we were able to pool our design and engineering knowledge and create a screen that meets not only our expectations – but more importantly yours.

Over 500lbs of pressure – unevenly distributed over just three small points.

No wonder the SRS can be left down when the wind blows…

While the other guys will sell you a wind sensor to retract the screens in moderate wind – we decided to just build the product right in the first place.

We have field tested our screens in winds up to 75 miles per hour… (while the wind sensor’s max setting is 28mph.)

The SRS screen is designed to keep the screen mesh stable  and allows for worry-free use of your screen, even in high wind conditions.

And our exclusive Screen Clean feature, built into the housing of your screen, brushes bugs and debris off the screen mesh, preventing pests from entering your home or nesting in the housing.

A whisper quiet motor and an intelligent remote control – what more could a guy want??

The SRS comes standard with a motor eliminating you having to manually raise or lower the screen using a hand crank.  We feature motors and controls manufactured by Somfy, the world leader in tubular motors.

We offer a variety of control options and can interface with existing home automation systems. We have found that homeowners who have purchased a motorized screen system use their screens more and are less susceptible to being damaged because of either being left down in bad weather or due to rolling up the screen in the wrong direction.

It’s much cooler to simply press a button.

Simplified Installation

Look Ma’ no brackets!

In an effort to keep installation simple, no brackets are needed to install the housing or side tracks.  This means it is easy to attach to a wall or soffit.  It will also keep unwanted insects from nesting between brackets and the housing and provide a cleaner look when mounted flush to the mounting surface.

Colors

The SRS is available in 10 standard frame colors; custom colors are available to allow you to match your specific color scheme.  Every screen is built to order with powder coating done in-house, resulting in a beautiful appliance-like finish and requiring little maintenance.

Solar Powered Motor

Forget the electrician and the cords – the solar  panel mounted on the screens housing and converts the sun’s light into electrical energy.

The harnessed electrical energy is stored within a special Nickel Metal Hydride (Ni-MH) battery which powers your motorized screen.

This wireless sun sensor is powered with an integrated solar
