Where did we go when we decided to design interior screens? Home.

At home we like to make time spent inside as comfortable as possible, so we asked the design and manu-craftering team to think about how they would create an interior screen that would accomplish this and more.

They did just that, and not just by watching hours of HGTV or thumbing through the latest home magazines. It’s clear that somewhere in the process they saw the light – maybe – depending on whether or not the screen was down. They designed interior screens that would not only look good in a home, but also benefit your comfort, health, and your wallet.

Rainier offers specially designed, interior-mounted shading systems that can completely block outdoor light, or simply cool a room. Whether you desire total privacy for your bed or bathroom, or if you’re looking to protect your furniture from fading in the sun, we can design a system to meet your unique needs.

A whisper quiet motor and an intelligent remote control – what more could a guy want??

Interior screens come standard with a motor eliminating you having to manually raise or lower the screen using a hand crank.  We feature motors and controls manufactured by Somfy, the world leader in tubular motors.

We offer a variety of control options and can interface with existing home automation systems. We have found that homeowners who have purchased a motorized screen system use their screens more.

It’s much cooler to simply press a button.

Crafted with that are stronger and more resilient than other screens on the market, interior screens aren’t prone to malfunction and can be raised and lowered with a lesser chance of damage providing quieter operation and a longer lasting screen.

Solar Powered Motor

Forget the electrician and the cords – the solar panel mounted on right on the window and converts the sun’s light into electrical energy.

The harnessed electrical energy is stored within a special Nickel Metal Hydride (Ni-MH) battery which powers your motorized screen.

Thermo Sunis Indoor WireFree™ RTS Sun Sensor

Allows for automatic operation of motorized interior window coverings according to the amount of sunlight and the temperature of the room. This functionality allows you to raise/lower or open/close your motorized screens depending on the sunlight and temperature threshold that you determine.

Motorized screens powered by Somfy seamlessly integrate with home automation systems so that you can lighting systems, HVAC, AV, and security systems with one device.

Control your motorized screen(s) with Somfy’s TaHomA – a Total Home Automation system that also offers users the control of lights and even thermostats along with your screens. TaHomA enables users to control, schedule and monitor a variety of products and efficiently optimizes the interaction of natural and artificial lighting, heating and cooling according to users’ personal preferences, which saves time, energy and money.
