We are excited to welcome our new Upholstery Business Unit Manager, Ryon Figgins, to the team!
Rainier has just acquired Sea2Sky Upholstery, a full-service canvas and upholstery company covering customers’ needs in aviation, marine, auto, residential and commercial furniture upholstery services.
With this acquisition, Rainier further extends its reach into the upholstery market. The acquisition will combine the power of Rainier’s capabilities of manufacturing production and customer service with Sea2Sky’s long-serving creative approach of helping customers with their upholstery needs in air, marine, auto, and commercial furniture upholstery services. Ryon Figgins, owner of Sea2Sky, will now be the Business Unit Manager of the new Upholstery Division overseeing the day to day operations and continued growth of Sea2Sky.
Ryon has spent the last 18 years building a name for his design and fabrication of high quality, functional and aesthetic looking boat and plane covers and enclosures as the founder of Sea2Sky. Using his creativity and expectation for quality, Ryon has raised the bar for how canvas products are designed and fabricated. An industry leader, Ryon and Sea2Sky Upholstery have been recognized by the Marine Fabricators Association (MFA) and the Industrial Fabric Association International (IFAI) for their innovation and fabrication quality in 2017 and 2018.
Ryon has spent 10 Years in aviation, 11 years as a volunteer Firefighter/EMT, and has a lifetime of passion for boats and planes. Ryon is dedicated to his family and spending as much time as possible on the water with his wife and two young daughters exploring the Puget Sound.
