Rainier Wins Award of Excellence for Liam’s Restaurant Project

Rainier was awarded with an International Achievement Award at this year’s Industrial Fabrics Association International (IFAI) Expo for our work at Liam’s Restaurant.

Liam’s approached us looking to enclose the restaurant’s patio and create additional seating space. We built a 58 foot by 18 foot canopy and enclosed it with 9 of our motorized SRS screens. The enclosed space makes for comfortable outdoor dining year round – Liam’s was happy to have an increased 40% seating capacity, and the increased revenue that comes with it!

Unique commercial awning projects like this one are our bread and butter. Our team worked from architectural sketches to design, fabricate, and install the supporting framework, awning, and the retractable panels. The end result is as practical as it is striking.

Rainier has been a member of the IFAI for more than 30 years, and has been recognized by the IAA many times (most recently for our work on the Olympic Stadium wrap in 2012.)

Each award means a lot to us – we are honored to be recognized by our peers in the industry, and to be reminded that you like us … you really like us!

Thanks for your interest, Ari! We build and install in the Seattle area, but have a number of dealers across the country who sell our products. I’ll see if I can find someone near D.C. who can help you with this, and will forward your contact info.
