Wayne Davidson Recognized by the Southwest Industrial Fabric Association

Rainier's Wayne Davidson was recently recognized as an honored life member by the Southwest Industrial Fabric Association (SWIFA). SWIFA is a non-profit association and is an affiliated zone of the Industrial Fabric Association International (IFAI). Membership in SWIFA is open to suppliers, manufacturers, fabricators, and others interested in promoting the technical fabric industry.

Wayne has been in the shade industry for almost 50 years and has lent a hand in developing the shade business in the U.S., including fourteen years of service on the Board of Directors of what is now the Professional Awning Manufacturer’s Association.

Wayne has worked in every segment of the industry, from sales to operations to install, and his wealth of knowledge makes him a valuable member of the Rainier team, and the shade industry as a whole. He came to us in 2008, where his experience helped to guide development of our screen and awning products. He currently works from his home office in Texas, supporting Rainier’s shade dealers in the southern and midwestern United States.
